Blogosphere reactions to Palin-Biden debate

October 3, 2008 · 1 Comment

Michelle Malkin:

Sarah Palin is the real deal. Five weeks on the campaign trail, thrust onto the national stage, she rocked tonight’s debate.

Atlas Shrugged:

She was herself. And she’s wonderful. Smart, authentic. I dug when she chided that old dinosaur.

I wish she had gone more on the attack more particularly when Biden was blaming Bush/ McCain for the financial meltdown. It was the poisonous fruit of cancerous Democrat government intervention. She missed opportunities to go for the jugular but her performance was exceptional. She seemed perfectly comfortable. She got her shots in.

Bob McCarty:

It took her almost an hour to get there, but Sarah Palin finally reached the point when she, the hockey mom from Wasilla, was able to distinguish herself as vastly different from Joe Biden, the six-term U.S. senator from Delaware.

Power Line:

Ernest Hemingway famously defined courage as grace under pressure. I thought Joe Biden did well for those who might have been unaware of his liberties with the truth. But last night Sarah Palin last night provided a good example of the kind of grace of which Hemingway spoke.

Little Green Footballs:

Sarah Palin was terrific in this debate. Just terrific. No mistakes. Heartfelt, sincere, and very knowledgeable.

Joe Biden came across as old, surgically enhanced, and tired, voice dwindling to a monotone as the debate progressed.

Sarah Palin won the debate going away.
